Zoning Commission Public Hearing & Special Meeting

The Roxbury Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM in person at the Roxbury Town Hall, 29 North Street, Roxbury, CT and virtually via Zoom and Teleconference (a Hybrid Meeting).  The purpose of the hearing is to re-solicit public comment on proposed amendments to the Roxbury Zoning Regulations regarding Section 1.3 PURPOSE.  The proposed amendments to the Roxbury Zoning Regulations would rescind Sections 1.3.1 through 1.3.15 and substitute new Sections 1.3.1 through 1.3.27 of the Regulations.. The full text of the proposed amendments can be viewed on the Town of Roxbury Website: www.roxburyct.com, and are available in the Roxbury Town Clerk’s Office and Land Use Office during normal business hours.   Because a prior hearing on these same proposed amendments was mistakenly held on the day of Lincoln’s Birthday observed, a legal  State holiday, the Public Hearing for these proposed amendments will be re-held on the above hearing date  and the Zoning Commission will take such actions as necessary to vacate its prior action on the same proposed amendments and to take action anew after the closing of  this noticed and reconducted public hearing.

 

At this hearing interested persons may be present and heard and written communications will be accepted from persons attending in person;  if attendance is virtual, written communications must be submitted by noon on May 9, 2023  in order that they can be posted.
