Learn the basics of organic vegetable gardening, from planning to planting. Join Holli Cederholm on Thursday, February 20 at 5:30 at the Minor Memorial Library, 23 South Street, Roxbury, for an informative session covering site preparation, seed selection and starting, planting for continued harvest, and organic pest management strategies. Holli has 15 years of organic farming and homesteading experience in which she managed an organic diversified vegetable, flower, and herb farm with a focus on heirloom and open-pollinated varieties for seed saving; raised dairy goats and chickens; and preserved most of her annual larder.
