The Roxbury Ambulance Association has provided Emergency Medical Services (EMS) since 1968. Our 40th Anniversary celebration was held in January 2009 at the Town Hall. The service is comprised of approximately 30 volunteer professionals who are all certified to at least the EMT-Basic level. Advanced Life Support is provided through a regional paramedic program based at New Milford Hospital and shared with six other area towns. We currently operate two ambulances and a First Responder vehicle which also tows our Rehab and Equipment trailer.
