TRANSFER STATION PERMITS
Annual Permit Stickers are required to use the Roxbury Transfer Station and every vehicle must have its own permit displayed on the driver’s side windshield.
Permits for 2012 will expire this year on June 30th. They’ve been effective for 18 months vs. the normal 12 months. We are changing their effective dates to coincide with the fiscal year which runs from July 1 to June 30 every year.
Therefore, the following will apply effective July 1, 2013:
- Permit Fee - $40; If purchased in May or June - $35
- Permit Fee for Volunteers – 1st one Free
- Each Additional Permit - $10
- Purchase with Cash, Check or Credit Card in Tax Office in May & June on Tuesdays & Wednesdays or by mail to Tax Collector’s Office, P. O. Box 153
- Can purchase with Cash or Check at Transfer Station on Saturdays in July
- Other fees payable to Operator or in Town Hall:
1. Refrigerators |
$30 due to Freon extraction |
2. Pick-up Loads |
$25 due to rising costs in disposing of bulky waste |
3. Mattresses |
$20 bulky fee to us |
4. Dehumidifiers |
$10 due to Freon extraction |
5. Air Conditioners |
$10 due to Freon extraction |
