7282010_33128_0.jpgThe Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department serves the town's firefighting, hazardous materials, and rescue needs.Incorporated as a volunteer organization in 1948, the Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department provides twenty-four hour emergency response to the Town of Roxbury and its neighboring communities. Using previous call data, response times average approximately four minutes for an officer on scene and eleven minutes for an apparatus. We presently have an insurance rating of nine.
